I was warned. I had heard that cruises are nothing but floating hunting ground for older women. Whatever, I said. As if older women would be chasing me. Fuck. It wasn't cool, man. Not. Fucking. Cool. Try to enjoy your dinner when an 83 year old broad walks over to you and hugs your head to her deflated old fun bags and says "He likes the old ladies, I can tell." Then try to resist sending grandma to the hospital after you punch her withered old face in. I would have enjoyed my cruise of the Mediterranean a whole hell of a lot more if it weren't for the Goddamn cougars. Seriously lady, have some dignity and realize you're too old to act like a 21 year old.
That said, Courtney Cox is awesome. She's older, she's experienced, she's sexy. She also looks young and that's the important thing. A cougar can be older, but she cant look it. I'd consider a woman in her forties attractive, but once menopause sets in, the thrill is gone. Sorry ladies but the term "silver fox" only applies to men.
I'll be thirty years old next month. I gotta admit, it was a little surprising when the Science Daily article said that women's fertility starts to drop after age 27. (If being 27 makes a woman older, does that make me an old man?) Women were grouped into three categories based on age: high fertility (18 to 26), low fertility (27 to 45) and menopausal (46 and older).
They found that women in the "low fertility" group were more likely to have one night stands, a higher sex drive, more frequent sex fantasies and more intense fantasies than younger women. "Our results suggest there is nothing special about the 30s, but that instead these behaviors manifest in all women with declining fertility. It may be more difficult to conceive past the age of 35, but our research suggests women's psychology will continue to motivate them to try until menopause," said Judith Easton of the University of Texas at Austin.
Marital status and whether or not the women had children didn't seem to make a difference. The deciding factor was age. Married women in their 30's and early 40's were found to have more sex than married women in their early twenties and single women.
